We believe that illustrations in children's books play a crucial role in sparking a child's boundless imagination and creativity.
Illustration is the art of storytelling—creating something new, something meaningful. It's about the reader, and it's also about you. It's about the imagination you want to inspire in your reader and the impact you hope to leave.
Now in its second year, the Yusof Gajah Illustration Award (YGIA) has become an annual celebration, encouraging the younger generation to explore the world of children's book illustration by crafting their own storybooks or collaborating as a team.

SELANGOR INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME

Now in its third edition, the Selangor International Fellowship Programme (SIFP) proudly welcomes publishers from around the world to engage with Malaysia's vibrant publishing scene.
This initiative is designed to enhance professional networking, promote cross-border collaborations, and position Selangor as a key hub for children's rights advocacy and creative content development.
Our dual mission is clear:
- To showcase exceptional local content on an international platform, and
- To invite global experts for meaningful exchange, knowledge sharing, and growth.
We aim to serve as a bridge between local and international publishers—cultivating valuable partnerships that inspire innovation and contribute to a thriving global book and knowledge economy.
