YGIA is a children’s book illustration competition to encourage creativity in the field of illustration art.
Who is eligible to participate?
Open to two categories: Teenagers (13-17 years old) and Adults (18 years old and above).
How to join?
Submit three illustrations from your book (in digital format, max file size 4MB each) through the YGIA website (www.sibf.my/ygia)
When is the closing date for participation?
Entries are open from 16 September to 31 October 2024.
What is the required illustration format?
Illustrations must be sent in digital format (Scanned to JPEG/PNG/PDF).
Is there an entry fee?
There is no fee to participate in this competition.
Do illustrations created using AI accepted?
Works in all digital formats are accepted, and the evaluation is subject to the appointed panel of judges.
Can I send a published work?
Yes, but make sure the work has never won an award.
How many works can be submitted?
Participants can send as many entry as they want (1 entry per book), with 3 selected illustrations (per book) per entry.
How do I know if my entry is accepted?

What are the evaluation criteria?
